JOSH AUTY - GB - Date of birth: 08/09/90 British career history: Scunthorpe (2006-07, CL), Redcar (2007-08), Sheffield (2009-present), Coventry (2009-present)
JOSH joined the Coventry asset base in 2007 having swept the board in junior speedway, winning the British Under-15 Championship in 2004 and 2005.
He has since been loaned out to Premier League clubs, and will return to Sheffield in 2010 for his second year with the Tigers after an initial year with Redcar.
He was called into the Bees squad as No.8 in 2009, but his form quickly saw him promoted to a doubling-up berth, and he frequently showed his ability to adapt to the demands of Elite League racing.
He hit a crucial double-figure score in the narrow home win over Ipswich, and marked the season finale by overtaking former GP star Lee Richardson in the last home meeting at Brandon.
Josh then enjoyed a hugely successful winter programme of racing in Australia, culminating in a call-up to the full national chamionships, and will be again competing in both leagues in 2010, staying with Sheffied in the Premier League and doubling-up for the Bees.
